This is the first post in a series on tip and tricks on how to promote your SQL Saturday and/or your local user group events.
There are lots of ways to promote your SQL Saturday. Today we will focus on one that is rising in popularity:
This site was developed by Microsoft Developer Evangelist Andrew Duthie (aka DEvHammer). The site welcomes submissions of any and all IT Pro/Developer/IT Community events. A login is not needed to submit an event. Events may not be immediately available for viewing. I suspect that is to prevent spam. Usually they are up on the site in a day or so. There is also an API that can be used to access the site as a webservice. You do need to register to have that option available. For more information take a look at the About page. I highly recommend the site for community event promotion.
